The NUFU I Project
The project had several components:
- capacity building program in the form of Ph.D. scholarships for IGS staff.
- scholarships for two female master students at the Addis Ababa University.
- empirical research on different topics under the theme of ‘Gender and Urbanization’.
- instrumental in starting the masters' program in Gender Studies that had been planned earlier by the IGS.
